Your Children
We take extra special care with your children from a young age to try and ensure they grow up cavity free.
We recommend check-ups from an early age – when their first teeth are just erupting. This way we can monitor their development and give you tailored advice about a healthy diet and brushing to prevent decay. It can sometimes be difficult to brush your child’s teeth when they are very young and a little reassurance can help with these new experiences.
By bringing your child with you to your check ups, they will also associate the dentist with a safe, pain-free environment and get used to the sounds and smells. At their own first visit, we make it fun and introduce the dental environment for them to explore, taking time to explain and show what we are doing. We also give out everyone’s favourite stickers – Frozen, Thomas and Cars to name a few!
Having children ourselves we understand how new places can be scary for children, and we make it as fun for them as we can. Why not get them to bring their favourite toy along so they can have their teeth checked too and take a picture to show their friends!?
